The BA in Theatre and Creative Media is a unique and forward-thinking program that combines the traditional art forms with modern media technologies. It is designed for individuals who want to explore the boundaries of creativity, develop a diverse skill set, and embark on a fulfilling career in the arts and media industry. Through a holistic curriculum, expert faculty, and a collaborative environment, this program empowers students to become versatile, innovative, and well-rounded artists and media professionals.
This program equips students for navigating live performance and the emerging digital media space for careers in arts and entertainment. Students will learn foundations of storytelling, composition, and publicity to bring dynamic stories to life both on the stage and through multimedia formats.
They will also collaborate on all aspects of production projects, including acting, directing, stage management, editing, costumes, lights, sound, props, and set design. The faculty consists of accomplished artists, experienced media professionals, and industry experts who are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of creative talent. They provide guidance and mentorship, sharing their wealth of knowledge and practical insights with students. This real-world expertise ensures that our graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of the creative industry and adapt to the rapidly changing landscape. At the end of the third year, students will be awarded a BA in Theatre and Creative Media degree. Students who have secured 75% marks and above in the first six semesters will have the option to pursue Honours in Theatre.

The University does not collect any type of Capitation / Donation other than the fee mentioned in the website.
If the Application is incomplete or incorrect, the University Management has the right to reject it.

All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules.
Ignorance of the Terms, Conditions, and guidelines will not be considered as an excuse for non-fulfillment of any stipulated process.
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for 1 to 5 years, there will be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.
Fees should be paid within the stipulated date for the first year and before the commencement of final examinations of the 2nd semester, 4th Semester, 6th Semester, and 8th Semester for the consecutive years.
All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost, if required for the programme.
Admitted student who wish to avail Bank Loan will be provided a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.
The decision of the Admission Committee is final and binding.

Micro Presentation (MP): Candidate should be able to talk for 90seconds, on a topic given by the panel.
Personal interview (PI): that will consist of:
Audition that will consist of: 1) A monologue from any well-known play. The candidate has to perform a monologue according to the following guidelines:
2) A song or dance of any style.
Along with the audition, the candidate has to demonstrate knowledge in both domains and be able to answer questions on historical, technical and aesthetic questions related to the disciplines. We expect our future students to be versatile and have general knowledge of history, geography, philosophy and literature. Portfolio Submission: demonstrate a genuine interest in the program by sharing any previous works in any of these fields: (YouTube Channel/Posters /Anchoring /Audio-Video Editing/Any Video Productions / Blogs and Vlogs/Content Writing/Publications/Composing/Photography/Graphic Design/Illustration /Animation/ Short films/Storyboards/Sketches) Academic Performance (AP): Assessment of past performance in class 10 and class 11/12
